We currently operate guest internet in more than 250 hostels across 6 countries and provide services to 20,000 customers a day.
A large number of guests in hostels are youth travellers who are the most sophisticated and demanding internet users in the world. They typically require very high bandwidth for Skype calls and content download combined with good upload capability for photos.
We believe that there is no such thing as free internet. Internet can be included in the room rate or it can be paid for but there is always a cost of providing Internet and quality internet can be expensive to deliver.

Our back-end systems are housed in secure, carrier-grade data centres in multiple locations in Sydney with redundant data paths to the Internet
We take security very seriously, right through from the guest experience on their device, to the physical installation of our equipment.
Guests accessing the network cannot see other guest devices on the same network, each client is completely isolated
When accessing one of our desktop PCs, all user data is securely wiped from the system as soon as the guest logs out
All of our billing systems use 128-bit SSL certificates to protect guest personal data.
Our interfaces link to a number of property management systems (including Charts and Guestcentrics) so that your reception staff can take Pin Card payments quickly and efficiently

Global Gossip delivers business hour guest and technical support from our “chasing daylight “ customer service centres located in the USA, UK, Spain and Australia. We have suitable qualified customer service staff and engineers in each location. We run a 24/7 hour customer care centre for all billing enquiries
We believe that it is in your best interests to own your own network but we have a number of options to suit your budget.
Managed Internet Service
Global Gossip will design, provision, install and then manage your guest internet for a very competitive monthly fee.
You own the equipment and completely control the balance between internet included and pay for service internet. All revenues are for your account.
Global Gossip will design, provision, install, FUND and then manage your guest internet on a revenue share model where we agree the upfront capital costs and you end up owning your network on an accelerated basis through a revenue share sacrifice.

Revenue Share model
Should your budget not allow you to fund your own guest internet but you feel that you need to deliver such a service , Global Gossip will consider providing the capital and fund the operating costs of your network on a revenue share model.
